This is the 1965 Canonet Ql17 packed with f/1.7 lens. I got this camera from a camera lot that I purchased recently. Initially, the camera shutter wasn't working and the light meter was dead. The shutter jammed due to dust and dried lube between the mechanisms. So, I had to disassemble the whole Copal SV shutter unit and clean it. The metering coil is good but somehow it doesn't work. Anyway, I managed to make it work again. I also modified the light metering system for ease of use. After the CLA, I took the test shot and the results were amazing!

There are QL 19 and QL 28 models too. They are almost the same but with different lenses. Later models are smaller and more compact. QL17 Gen III is a very popular one.

Hope you enjoy the video, and get some useful info from that. Happy shooting film!
