This is the full edited video of the Celebration of Life for Captain Carlos Navedo. Carlos joined the West Melbourne Police Department as a civilian desk officer in 2002 and decided to attend the police academy shortly thereafter. He was sworn in as a police officer in 2003 and has honorably served the citizens of West Melbourne in many capacities over the years. He achieved the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain. This is a huge loss and Carlos will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters at the West Melbourne Police Department.
