Drum Major David Rae, after being presented with a bottle of Whisky by the Tomintoul Games Chieftain Jim Fraser. leads the combined pipe bands back through Tomintoul in Moray Scotland at the conclusion of the 2019 Tomintoul Highland Games. David Rae is with Ellon & District RBL Pipe Band, and after many years of being involved in these Games, this was his last visit as a Drum Major, hence the honour of leading Drum Major for the march.
The pipe bands taking part are Huntly & District Pipe Band and Ballater & District Pipe Band, playing the tune "Cock o' the North" and "Bonnie Dundee" on the march back from the Games into Tomintoul. The other Drum Majors are Derek Dean, Ian Esson, Bill Barclay, Ronnie Rennie and Bert Summers.
