I was burning up cams and rocker arms, due to the lack of oil to the left side of motor. A friend read a thread from Thumper Talk to about a guy who was having the same problem and changed the oil tube feeding the oil to the top of the motor with a bigger diameter line and it worked for him. I took it a little further and drilled out the two holes on the left side of the cam to help get more oil over there and made up a tube from some copper tubbing,. brake line banjo bolts i had lying around, and some brass compression fittings I got from Lowes. assembled and bent the line to fit, drilled out the oil fitting bolts some put new compression washers in and rode it for about 5,000 miles. changed the oil about every 1,000 to 1,500 miles. upon inspection I could not find any new ware on either the cam or rocker arms.
