Under the leadership of Mrs. Likha Nem Nabam as the Christian Education Promoter for the Yupia Pastoral Range, NBCC, and myself, Bro. Hillang Kapa, serving as the Superintendent of the Sunday School Department at Golgotha Baptist Church, Papu Nallah, Yupia Pastoral Range, NBCC, from 2018 to 2024, we successfully organized the Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2024. Over the past six years, we have consistently worked to promote Christian education and nurture the spiritual growth of children, and this year, VBS was an inspiring testament to that effort.
The VBS 2024 was attended by over 200-300 children from both Golgotha Baptist Church and Modirijo Baptist Church. It was an occasion filled with joy, spiritual enrichment, and fellowship. The children engaged in various activities that aimed to deepen their understanding of Christian teachings while also providing a fun and interactive learning environment.
The program was carefully planned to include Bible lessons, worship songs, and hands-on activities like arts and crafts. These activities reinforced Christian values and helped the children learn about important themes such as compassion, love, kindness, and living a Christ-centered life. The sound of prayers, hymns, and laughter filled the air as children immersed themselves in the teachings of the Bible.
The success of the VBS would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of volunteers, church members, and pastoral leaders from both Golgotha BC and Modirijo BC. Everyone played a vital role in making sure that the children felt welcomed, included, and cherished.
The Teacher team from the Nanaharlagun BC, combined with the enthusiastic participation of the children and the support of the church community, made this event a memorable and transformative experience for everyone involved. It was not just a program but a celebration of faith, learning, and fellowship that left a lasting spiritual impact on the young participants.
