The first of many, large pepper harvest of '23 and what I did with this batch. From pickling to soup base I was certainly tired of peppers on this summer day.
After the last big harvest in October I said I was not growing any peppers in '24, but then I opened the first jar and made taco soup... wishing I had made more🤤 Who knows, I've still got those 2 gallons of tomatoes in the freezer, a few onions to use up from the harvest and of coarse I dehydrated LOTS of peppers, I might be canning that soup base over Christmas weekend.
