Trevor's life has become a void, following the passing of his wife and long term companion, Doris. Days run into weeks, as Trevor slowly finds himself isolated and alone, and unconcernedly slipping towards death.
A chance encounter in the park with a mysterious stranger equally troubled by his own dark past jarringly reawakens him, and forces both men to once again start to live.

Written and directed by Jake Graf, 'Chance' premiered at BFI Flare and was nominated for The Iris Prize (BAFTA qualifying festival).

The film was selected as one of 5 films for the BFI/BFC’s inaugural #FiveFilms4Freedom film package, screened to 142 countries worldwide, and remains part of the British Film Council's LGBTQ films package.

Winner of 21 awards including ‘Best LGBT Short’ at CTLPDX Festival (Oregon), Best Short Film at Pride Art and Film Festival (NY), and Audience Best Short at The Palm Springs LGBT Film Festival.
