Siskel & Ebert practically take their gloves off during this review. Gene couldn't be any more condescending with his nasty non-verbals pointed toward Roger. Gene thought Branagh's American accent was terrible and the makeup was "too fake" lol. Roger, on the other hand, thought this mystery thriller was on par with Hitchcock, or at least De Palma. I saw this at a theater in South Miami with two close friends in early Sep 1991. I don't agree with either Gene or Roger this was a decent flick, a little boring with some silly casting of Robin Williams and especially the antagonist Derek Jacobi. Gene & Roger's thumbs were up and down my thumb is pointed sideways on this mostly forgettable and somewhat amateurish thriller.
