Itharna is famous for its temple , its secret hidden isolated swimming pool , lush green meadows and for its scenic beauty , one have to drive around 36 kms to reach itharna from dehradun and the ride will be around 50-60 minutes. { DEHRADUN - RAIPUR - THANO - BHOGPUR- ITHARNA } .One can go there with friends and family for picnic and outings , it is also good for camping { a heaven actually for campers } but do maintain its dignity and do take care of the cleanliness of the temple premises and of the green meadows , Best time to visit is around monsoons when flowers bloom and all the valley turns into green making it very serene . only experienced drivers or riders should drive in those roads leading to the temple as the roads are very narrow and steep
