If you are currently trying to accomplish a goal, don’t forget to take the time to celebrate all of the small wins along the way...

In this clip from our last workshop, I share with you how celebrating small wins can help propel you forward towards accomplishing any goal you set before yourself. Whether it's learning a new language, running a marathon, or overcoming obstacles... celebrating small wins can become extraordinarily powerful motivators.

For instance, in early 2021, as I was recovering from knee surgery, I had a spinal injury that landed me in the hospital. Throughout the day, I was asked repeatedly if I could feel my legs. Though I could feel them, I could not move them. A scary moment to say the least. Immediately my wife and I started to picture what our lives would look like if I became paraplegic.

Fortunately, after several months of persistence and consistency, I progressed from a wheel chair to crutches... and then progressed from crutches to a walking with a back brace... and then progressed from a back brace to walking on my own. Then, I decided I was going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep pushing.

By the end of the year, I had regained enough strength and stamina to finish my first ever triathlon with my extremely supportive family cheering me on at the finish line.

So when it comes to completing a personal goal for yourself, be sure to take the time to celebrate every small win you can, you never know how far you'll go!
