State of mind

What would be the state of mind
If you were blind
And could only picture
The essential things in life
Without being deceived by the eyes
Status and pride
Ego and lies
being controlled and analyzed
Programmed by the masses
Becoming a slave of distractions
Mistaking morality for misconceptions
Living for other peoples acceptance
Overcome by vain desires
Missing out on true Guidance
That goes beyond what we perceive with the iris
.
As we are influenced by those who are amongst us
We only seem to care about our freedom but not enough to take our responsibility towards our own community
And while immorality is growing rapidly
Were becoming a product of a destructive industry
.
Triggered by Delusional pleasures
Driven by Desperate measures
Losing focus on the real treasures
In life
The only precious capital we really have
Is time
.
Our intellect is an organ of perception
So why are we allowing others to choose our direction
.
May Allah swt guide us to a state of reflection
