We are kicking off the holiday season at Longwood Gardens! Longwood Gardens is a special place year round, but it’s truly magical at Christmastime and they put on quite the show for their guests. This year we are stepping back in time for a retro Christmas.

Join us as we explore Longwood’s ground, gardens, and famous Conservatory to see trees shimmering from tinsel and vintage baubles to perfectly wrapped gifts and classic children’s toys. From vintage decor and jumbo sized holiday scenes to a mid-century holiday party and their classic Longwood Gardens garden railway with miniature trains, Longwood Gardens is alive with merriment. With over 500,000 twinkling lights, you are sure to enjoy the dazzling display.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that we our back at Longwood Gardens because it’s one of our favorite places. This year, we took advantage of the holiday festivities to experience their 1906 restaurant. 1906 is their upscale full-service dining option on the grounds. Named to honor the year DuPont acquired the land that would become Longwood Gardens, the restaurant offers seasonal delights and treats that are sure to impress.

We love that it doesn't matter how often you go - there is always something new to see and experience at Longwood Gardens.

Wishing you a very merry retro Christmas!
