The song "Monsieur d'Elbee" was likely written originally in 1793 and is about the major leaders and commanders of the counterrevolutionary "Catholic and Royal Army of the Vendee" which rebelled against the First French Republic in a war lasting from 1793-96, nicknamed a "War of Giants" by Napoleon. This version was recorded in 1992 by Didier Barbelivien, all credit goes to the original creator for the performance!
