I have always dreamed about making a life-size macrame Christmas Tree, and so this year I made it a reality! This macrame Christmas tree took many hours at LOTS of string, and I am so happy with the finished piece. Watch this time lapse to see my process as I create the Christmas Tree, and follow along step by step as it comes to life.

I love the unique boho style of this Christmas tree and am so happy I get to put it up with all my decorations for years to come.

I used a 4mm braided cotton cord for this project, and the reason I used braided cord is because it is more durable and so the tree will last for a long time! twisted cord can wear down more quickly than braided.
