I started taking piano lessons during COVID, something I had always wanted to do. Recently, I had my second recital at the age of 38.

I was the only adult performer in a recital full of kids. My parents, friends and girlfriend came to support me. Even though I had practiced for months, I was really nervous. I messed up a few times on my first song, "Canon" by Palchabel. But I kept going and finished strong. My second song was "Malagueña"; I had that one memorized, and I nailed it.

It wasn't easy, but I'm glad I pushed through it. I hope this video serves as a reminder that it's never too late to follow your dreams and overcome obstacles along the way.
