Continuing our gaming-related series on the channel! The Last of Us Season 1, Episode 2 Reaction, Recap, Review! The Last of Us is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann for HBO. Based on the video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog, the series is set twenty years into a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection, which causes its hosts to transform into zombie-like creatures and ultimately collapses society. The first season, based on the 2013 game for the Sony Playstation, follows a smuggler, Joel (Pedro Pascal), tasked with escorting the immune teenager Ellie (Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States. Video games are a huge part of growing up as Xennials, so we are excited to be reacting to a show that has been adapted from one of the best video games that has been released in the last 10 years!
