Kaohsiung is the final city where we wrap up our Taiwan adventures. It's in southern Taiwan and it's filled with both modern and traditional attractions. Definitely worth a visit during your Taiwan travels.

PLACES WE VISITED IN THIS VLOG
⭐ Lotus Pond (sometimes called Lotus Lake)
This is where the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are, as well as the Summer and Autumn Pavilions. They are a short walking distance from each other and there are a number of temples all around the lake too.

⭐ GLORY PIER
You get great views of Kaohsiung Music Centre from here and you can also take the light rail to visit plenty of other popular attractions. Just remember to get on the correct side of the platform as it's easy to mix up! Also the rubber duck turned out to be a festival attraction and not a permanent resident unfortunately :)

⭐ PIER 2 ART CENTER
You can easily spend a whole afternoon exploring Pier 2 in its entirety. Lots of shops, cafes, exhibitions and also all the open air art installations.

⭐ SHOUSHAN LOVE LOOKOUT
Definitely an excellent spot for a panoramic view of the city and if you're lucky a fabulous sunset too. It's also pretty much next to Kaohsiung Martyrs' Shrine too.

It's a very popular spot so expect lines. You need to get a ticket number when you arrive then wait for your number to be shown and called out.
