Make sure you review your owners manual before doing maintenance. Always disconnect your battery when doing maintenance. If you don't disconnect the battery, the pedal assist could turn on and drive the rear wheel automatically. In this video I show you how I created a useful, no lift, maintenance stand for my Lectric XP 2.0 electric bike out of some materials I already owned.
All that is required is a 2x4, a jack stand, cambuckle straps, and some pipe hangers. The bike stand is legit. I had purchased a commercial bike stand for about $300 but prefer my homemade one that I felt is much safer (the bike doesn't need to be suspended) and easier to work with (the bike does not need to be lifted). I demonstrate how I lift the bike by myself. It is even easier with a buddy.
