I'm half way through my invisalign treatment. This is my invisalign update for trays 8 to 15 and the highs and lows of it all. With progress pics, of course. For anyone who is considering invisalign, or adult braces, this video is for you.

I got settled into the invisalign lifestyle pretty easily. Adapting to the new trays within a few days. The first real high came at tray 9. I could see true progress. For the first time, I became proud of my smile.

Then, the at the next dental monitoring scan, my progress was stalled. The trays weren't fitting and I was delayed for 5 days. And then another 5 days. I was somewhat perturbed by the situation.

I needed IPR to straighten up my triangular teeth, and remove the black triangles. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but I think trays 9 to 11 fit poorly due to my overcrowded teeth, and the IPR was exactly what nudged me over the please-just-fit hurdle. Regardless, I jumped back on the bandwagon and she was full steam ahead. Everything went swimmingly for quite some time. And then I met my match with a ham sandwich. My bite had stopped working. I was unable to bite pizza without a little help from a knife.
