FLORIDA: Horror Hurricane 'Milton'! “...then it gets interesting” Storm of the century hits US coast

Hurricane “Milton” made landfall in the US state of Florida on Wednesday evening, causing flooding and power outages in the region. According to the US Hurricane Center NHC, “Milton” made landfall in a densely populated area near Siesta Key in Sarasota County. The agency warned of “life-threatening storm surges.” According to the website poweroutage.us, at least 1.6 million households and businesses were without power late Wednesday night.
