The following video is Tiento XXI de Batalla by Juan Bautista José Cabanilles, arr. Geier (1644-1712, Valencia). Originally written for organ Mr. Geier arranged it for chamber strings. This performance was part of a Lecture/Concert entitled "Independencia!" a program in honor of Mexican Independence Day. This movement represented music written in Mexico with war like qualities. All three performers are talented vocalists as well as instrumentalists.

Juan Carlos Zamudio, violin
Maria Romero, violin
Michael Linert, cello
