Something a little different from the workbench and a build that is aimed at very young railway modellers. I got the idea after seeing the Thomas World Book Day video on their official channel a while back which showed how to make a set of guards' flags.
Now I have seen some people dress up when they go to operate their model layouts, and truth be told I sometimes do it as well. I'd say this is probably a railway modeller's term for cosplaying. Anyway this is a very simple video to follow and hope it will welcome the next generation of railway modellers to the hobby.
Items required for the build.
-Dowel rods
-Sheets of red and green felt (Size A4)
-Craft glue. (I'm using superglue to help speed things along but I strongly recommend using craft glue like PVA instead. ALWAYS ask and adult to help you with the gluing, kiddies!)
