In this second of two videos dedicated to discussion of pigment identification in histology, I focus on three commonly used procedures that support the identification of bile pigment, iron pigment or melanin pigment via the use of colourful histochemical reactions. Some novel combinations of counterstains are also explored including the Van Gieson stain and PAS stain.
