On my 2022 Appalachian Trail thru hike I chose my big 3 items based on previous experience and what I expected of the trail. Mostly I kept to the same gear except changes due to changes in environment and needing a bigger a tent for when Tina caught up. Today I'll go over how I felt my big 3 items did after finishing the entire trail.
These big 3 items include my tent, sleeping pad, and quilt along with all the accessories that went along with those big 3 items.
