How do you stop a dog from constant barking, whining or excessive noise when left alone. How to stop seperation anxiety (if you wish to stick an emotive label on what is basically a learned behaviour in a given context)? ... This dog will literally scream for attention when left alone for any period. Many people will use the term separation anxiety and get you to spend months and months, enduring constant barking for hours and hours, having you believe that a HUGE procedure - usually TOTALLY unrealistic and TOTALLY unachievable ( and costing hundreds of pounds ) will resolve the issue ... You may well then be told by a vet, that anti depressants are needed in conjunction with this convoluted behaviourist procedure, so that the CAUSE of the problem can be tackled, rather than simply the SYMPTOMS ..... Try it if you like! - This video will still be here for you when the procedure fails, and you are a year older and a substantially worse off. If I tell you that your animal is 'suffering' from a 'mental condition' - a psychological illness, then I have your emotive interest, your sense of pity and guilt in the palm of my money-seeking hand. Watch this video ... The original version is 54 minutes long - almost all of it shows the dog sleeping. .... 5hrs later, the dog went back into the crate and went straight to sleep within about 3 minutes, without a single bark, whine or protest - For 3 and a half hours. How was this achieved? With TWO corrections from a remote training collar or e-collar, delivered immediately in response to barking from another room (unseen). Today (36hrs later), he whined for a moment in the kitchen as I was in another room. I pushed the 'vibrate' or 'page' button on a Dogtra iQ remote collar for 2s and there was silence. 20 minutes later I went into the kitchen to find that he had taken himself into the crate and was sleeping in it.
