In this #ZKast I interview Paul Turner, Vice President Products, VMware Cloud Foundation Division.

Turner and I discuss the #cloud industry, specifically the move back to #PrivateClouds. Turner talks about what customers are telling him about why they are keeping workloads in a private cloud and repatriating workloads back from public clouds.

Turner explains the VMware Cloud Maturity Assessment and how it can help customers understand their current state with #cloud to plan a migration. We also banter about the business outcomes best met with private cloud.

Paul then shifts the discussion to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), its unique characteristics, and the migration path from vSphere to VCF.
