CTA 44 is the first car I operate after I joined the National Museum of Transportation Trolley Volunteer group. Some people called it a trolley because it has a trolley pole, but I prefer to call it a subway car because its official type name on the catalog of St. Louis Car Company is "Subway-'L' car".
