Olympic Marathoner Marcela Joglová is preparing for the Rotterdam Marathon (April 10) where she hopes to lower her 2:28:15 personal best time, the time that qualified her for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
While spending 3 months in Kenya preparing for the Rotterdam Marathon, we joined Marcela for a few workouts- the first being this set of 1km repeats. Marcela preferred to not know the splits during the workout, instead practicing how to run by feel.
The workout: 10 x 1km with 200m jog recovery.
