In this lesson you learn the cool hack from our amazing sewing teacher, Betty shows you how to do a slight gathering stitch for the sleeves. Betty has been sewing for over 50 years and handstitching since she was 5.

Betty comes from a family of sewing creatives and had a highly sought after Pattern Business in Brisbane for 20years working with some of Australia's top designers. Studying Fashion Design in the 80's she decided to focus on Pattern making and is a master at pattern development. She converts all my commercial patterns over to PDF's for your convenience.

This is a 4th sewing project only because the zip is long and you need to have a bit of a steady hand with your sewing to master it without losing all hope.

If you are an adventurous sewist and have been making pillow cases and bags for a while, you could do this as your second or third project.

To help more people learn how to sew faster we are releasing all of our sewing lessons onto our YouTube channel, make sure to subscribe as we are releasing new lessons every week. When you subscribe you will automatically be notified first.

All the fabric yield and recommendations and the pattern are available here; http://bit.ly/2kVywjC

The pattern for this dress comes in A0, A4, and A3 so you can choose where and how you want to print.

I don't know everything which is why I am asking, listening and then putting together some awesome videos of awesome humans sharing their insights about sewing, sustainably and style.

Be nice, contribute, ask, make call outs that are helpful and supportive and then together we can make this channel something amazing.
