This week we delve into the enigmatic life of brutal criminal Dale Cregan, an infamous English drug dealer and murderer who gained notoriety for his involvement in a series of brutal crimes. Here are the key details about him!

Cregan was a ruthless and intimidating figure in the criminal underworld, he ran things in Tameside making people uncomfortable with his presence. In 2012 Cregan committed a series of murders, he killed father and son Mark and David Short in separate attacks and went on the run and later murdered police officers Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone.

Cregan’s crimes involved the use of firearms and he showed no hesitation in resorting to violence to achieve his goals. Cregan became one of Manchester’s most wanted men after the police shootings, he eventually turned himself in to Tameside police station. He faced four counts of murder (including the police officers deaths) and three counts of attempted murder.

Cregan received a whole life order in prison, ensuring he would spend the rest of his life behind bars!
