Urban races? Down towns? Urban Downhill? sure! you might have heard of them, you might have seen POV's or some wild footage, but what goes behind the scenes is something that I am sure you have no clue about.

This time of the year is where we start seeing all these crazy urban races down in South America. Yes, because of the seasons in the northern hemisphere we have seen for years these impressive/sketchy tracks where only few wild riders are willing to race and by race it could be almost the same as risking their lives.

Well, this video won't be the usual video that you are used to watching about urban races if you are familiar with them. I mean, breathtaking POV's, amazing edits of really talented riders sending huge gaps, wooden doubles, flying down the city's stairs and jumping over dogs or riding through someone's house. Well, you will see some of this here, but more than that, the idea of this video is to take you through what an Urban Race feels like. I raced these events for more than 15 years, achieving great results as 10 times champion. People still struggle to understand the behind the scenes of these races, so our intention is that you can get an idea and feel the step by step of them.

So sit thigh, take a breath and enjoy the stressful but exciting races that are big time in countries like Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and a few others. This race in particular was held in Manizales, my hometown and it's been happening for over 14th years during our traditional city local carnivals every year. Proudly I hit a strike of 9th wins in a row until I decided to stop 3 years ago.
