There is a lot to love about the House of the Dragon, and what stood out to me the most was the consistency and nuance of the acting— with Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, and Olivia Cooke all giving exemplary performances, rivaling even the best of Game of Thrones. But to me, it was King Viserys, and the performance of Paddy Considine, that was truly the highlight of the show, and maybe my favorite fantasy performance ever.
