The Fender JV Modified ‘60s Custom Telecaster revisits an iconic moment in the Fender lineage to deliver a Telecaster inspired by the now-classic “Japanese Vintage” reissues from the early 1980’s. Updated with modern features, the 4-way switch allows players to select each of the dual single-coil pickups individually, or both pickups in series or parallel wiring. For even more sonic variation, this JV Tele also includes a push-pull pot on the tone control which flips the pickups in and out of phase on positions 2 and 4. The unique soft V-shaped maple neck with satin finish allows for smooth playability and the resonant basswood body is comfortable and comes in a striking Firemist Gold. Additional appointments include a 3-saddle vintage-style bridge with barrel brass saddles and nickel/chrome hardware.
