In 2007 , Areva, the world leader in nuclear power , bought Uramin , a small Canadian mining company , for 1.8 billion euros . But soon the deposits , located mainly in Namibia and the Central African Republic , prove unworkable . Since April 2014, the court investigating the case and on the 3 billion euros invested by Areva, a company owned 87% by the state.
