Straight from their home in La Punta, the Lanzone Brothers formed the Peruvian Brothers Food Truck and Restaurant to bring their love of fresh, cultural food to the Arlington area. They serve numerous foods such as lomo saltado, empanadas, chicha morada and their signature hot sauce.

Guiseppe Lanzone and his brother, Mario immigrated to the United States during a time of political unrest in Peru. Terrorism from the Shining Path and other groups was rampant in the 90’s and all the way into the 2000’s. The effect of the terrorism still lingers politically today and causes many problems and disruption for Peruvians currently residing there. Peruvian Brothers helps Peru by bringing attention to its rich culture. They try to employ Peruvians, give them work opportunities and partner with local initiatives. With their many triumphs and successes, the brothers aim to give back to the community they came from.

Over the past 13 years of doing business in the DMV, they have received numerous prestigious awards and are soon opening a restaurant at Amazon’s HQ2. The Peruvian government has also recognized their initiatives and awarded them with the title of official “Gastro-Diplomats” of Peru. Learn how the Peruvian Brothers help their community with their values and what they hope to accomplish with their business.
