This video is on the primary auxiliary or helping and supporting verbs ‘to be’, ‘to have’ and ‘to do’. The verb forms derived from these three root verbs are shown in a chart and each of their functions in a sentence is discussed. The primary auxiliary verbs can function both as main as well as supporting verbs in a sentence. This is indicated by numerous examples. Since these three verbs are the most often used ones in the English language these examples will help learners correct their usage wherever they are making mistakes. After the examples of all the functions of the derivatives of all the three primary auxiliary verbs there are two exercises for the learners to test their understanding of the concept and also know how much more they need to practice these verbs to master them. The sentences can be used for speaking, conversation, communication by expanding them into paragraphs as is suggested in the video. This will help in overall improvement of LSRW skills of learners.
