This is a ride on The Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig on June 6, 2012. Lead engine ist K1 62005.

Watch the train cross Banavie bridge, famous for Neptune's staircase, the eight locks that link to the Caledonian Canal. See Glenfinnan's famous viaduct, where Harry Potter scenes were shot. Experience shunting at Glenfinnan station to give way to an oncoming passing train bound for Glasgow. Pass Loch Eilt and climb up Beasdale Bank to cross fabulous Loch nan Uamh viaduct, to reach Arisaig and Morar stations before the train arrives at and leaves again from Mallaig.

This is a project for feature westhighlandline.com website, containing information on the future model railway-layout to be built soon.
