Since Elden Ring does require precise button input I can not stream it on my current setup due to input delay. That is why I decided to share my first attempt at Elden Ring – or any Soulslike for that matter – via videos of the proper-big-healthbar-bosses as they signify, more than anything else in that game, the main milestones. As a disclaimer: I am not recording, saving and holding on to streaks of only failed attempts to edit giant videos including all tries but only intend to record, save and upload runs with an successful attempt at the end.
Daaamn what a son of a submariner Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy is!! His first phase was hard enough and I was proud on getting it down on my own after a bloody while of learning and persisting. His second phase though threw me out hard. Seemed impenetrable to me, since I did little damage all the while standing in the lava to even manage a hit, with little room to manoeuvrer out of reach from his various attacks, dying at the latest when skulls started to swarm me. Luckily at this point you could rely on the internet to provide a little “trick” to the boss – and boy was that a trick! And it was provided to me right at the beginning of the fight :D
