New WR (Premieres today at 4PM Eastern time):    • [Former WR] Skyrim Glitchless in 1:10:51

Again, I'll be able to beat this soon, so remember to subscribe! I'll also post glitchless and legendary glitchless runs for other categories such as DLC's and guild questlines in the future!

FAQ:
-Why do you pause the timer on load screens?
This is standard for almost all PC games, except ones where load screens are consistent (which is uncommon). The length of load screens only depend on how fast your PC is, so it wouldn't be fair to include them.

- Why play as a high elf?
Your movement speed (which is obviously very important) is proportional to your height, which depends on your race and gender. Both male and female high elves have a height of 1.08 which is 3-15% higher than all other combinations. I play as female because it makes the constant grunting noise while sprinting a little more tolerable.

- Why is that weird jump in Helgen/Karthspire/Skuldafn not a glitch?
For something to be a glitch it has to break the mechanics of the game. In these jumps, while you're not taking the intended path, you're jumping with the game's normal physics onto platforms with normal collision.

- Why do you keep waiting?
Each time you wait, as long as you're far away enough from any enemies that the game lets you wait, it restores your health, your stamina, and your shout cooldown. The stamina restoring allows you to keep sprinting indefinitely when not in combat. Often in dungeons you'll see me wait before my stamina bar runs out, which means I wouldn't be able to go any further without getting into combat and being unable to wait for a while.

- Why are you grabbing all that wine?
We can hotkey the bottles of wine to drink them all at once in sections when the game normally doesn't wait - including in Skuldafn/Sovngarde, where the game doesn't let you wait even when there aren't enemies nearby. Drinking each bottle restores 15 stamina but also temporarily decreases your stamina regeneration. However it can't decrease your stamina regeneration below 0, so it's most efficient to drink them in big batches so that after your first few bottles, the negative effects of the rest are negated. You'll also see me drink a lot of them in Raldbthar.

- How do you beat Alduin without upgrading armor, skills, perks, etc
Playing on novice is a big help, since you deal double damage and take half damage. (I'll post a run on legendary difficulty soon though - hold tight!) Not having armor barely makes a difference - the difference in damage taken between having pretty strong armor and no armor, without any armor perks, is surprisingly small, especially since armor only affects physical damage, and most of the damage I take isn't physical. Most of the damage I deal comes from weapon enchantments from the weapons I get along the way, and this isn't affected by weapon skill or perks, so it's not even worth taking the time to get the first one handed or two handed perk even though I have an unspent perk point. Alduin's level scales with your level with a minimum level of 10, so that's the level he'll be when I encounter him.

- this isn't glitchless!!! 😡😡😡
I didn't make the rules for this category, they're a product of years of constant debate within the community, and this run follows them. Making a set of rules for a category like this is hard and you can't make everyone happy. Any of your concerns have probably been discussed multiple times, deal with it.

Also, I play in English because it happens to have the fastest dialogue. Next is Italian which is ~15 seconds slower.
