The film shows the Brazilian anthropologist Roberto DaMatta returning to the Apinajé People in 2023, 45 years after the end of his fieldwork. The trip was prompted by the donation of the anthropologist's personal archive to the Center for Research and Documentation on Contemporary Brazilian History (CPDOC), marking the beginning of the project “Indigenous Documentary Heritage: A collaborative work between FGV CPDOC and the Apinajé People.
