Here's a quick tip on how I solder wire together without hassle. For years I'd be clamping the wire down and using holders and all sorts of other stuff to hold the workpiece steady but I'd wind up having it move and chasing it with the iron. This tip makes it easier to get a better quality joint and takes a lot less time.
