The 12d Model Super Alignment allows both the intersection point method and fixed and floating methods to be used for horizontal and vertical geometry.

New features added to the Super Alignment in 12d Model 11 includes markers to restrict the horizontal and vertical parts to be solved, design speed tables for the automatic application of super elevation and widening (including the display in the section view), free connections for horizontal geometry of type straight, chamfer and corner, licking vertical intersection points to horizontal intersection points, diameter or width and height to create a super pipeline. Components for placing roundabouts, intersections, turns, bus bays, etc. have been enhanced and a new hammer head culdesac added.


Held in Brisbane on July 27-29 July 2014, the 12d Model International Conference was attended by over 400 people across the three days and nights. Attendees could attend four rooms of technical talks, case studies, networking sessions and "Birds of a Feather" sessions.
