This is an account of my personal experience in India. As a solo female traveller, I was quite uncertain what to expect after hearing so many conflicting reports. I have tried to be measured yet honest, optimistic yet real.

If you are a single person (especially if you are female!) then watch this video before you visit India. I hope it dispels some myths, whilst revealing some truths, as well as providing critical tips.
