Continuing our drive through the Badlands National Park is just gorgeous! The Fossil Exhibit Trail is a significant Paleontological site and is a great walk for children. The short trail has plaques that describe the animals that used to roam the park and live here long ago. There is bronze cast of fossils and impressions along the boardwalk to view. Castle Trail is the longest trail in the park. It has spectacular rock formations with vivid colored bands that can be seen along the trail. We hiked part of the trail. It's an easy trail and a pleasant hike in the late afternoon.
