Simple advanced weathering technique the Boomer Way. Keep throwing paint on the model, layer after layer, coupled with systematic washing and wiping away between sealer coats. Let the medium do the talking for you. Some standard wash ratios: 1. Vallejo Paint with 90% distilled water (applied with standard paint brush).
2. Tamiya Paint with 90% Isopropyl Alcohol (applied with airbrush).
3. Windsor & Newton Oils with 90% odorless mineral spirits (applied with standard brush).
