"Red Meat" - Song by Otis Taylor

Sometimes you eat the steak, oh
Baby, the steak eats you
Sometimes you eat the steak, oh
The steak eats you
Red meat, oh, red meat
Oh, red, red meat
Red meat, oh, red meat
Oh, cold, cold red meat
Sometimes you take the love, and
Sometimes the love takes you
Sometimes you take the love, oh
Sometimes the love takes you
Red meat, oh, red meat
Baby, don't know why you're mean to me
Red meat, oh, red meat
Don't know why you're mean to me
Sometimes we eat the steak, or maybe
The steak eats you
Sometimes we eat the steak, oh baby
Maybe the steak eats you
Red meat, oh, red meat
Baby, why you mean to me?
Red meat, oh, red meat
Baby, why you mean to me?
Sometimes you take the love
Sometimes the love takes you
Sometimes you take the love
Sometimes the love takes you
Red meat, red meat
Oh, baby, why you mean to me?
Red meat, oh red meat
Oh, baby, why you mean to me?
Red meat, red meat
Oh, baby, why you mean to me?
Red meat, oh red meat
Red, red meat, red, red meat
Red meat, oh, red meat
Oh, cold, cold, cold red meat
Red meat, oh, red meat, oh, baby
Cold, cold, cold red meat

Banjo… is blues icon Otis Taylor’s latest and 15th album and definitely his best. It was recorded in Boulder over a two-week period, with Otis Taylor’s band members flown in from all over the country for the occasion. On drums, the amazing Chuck Louden brings his rhythmic fire along with Nick Amodeo on bass and mandolin, J.P. Johnson on lead guitar, and on the B3 Hammond and Moog synth, the wild man himself, Brian Juan.

The music on Banjo… is Otis Taylor at his best. This is a must-have masterpiece from one of the best blues musicians in the world. Pure Otis. Hear samples and buy Banjo... at the link in the “About” tab.
