Greater Noida is set to witness the launch of 8 more industrial sectors in the near future, marking a significant milestone in its industrial growth.

At a major event, the Greater Noida authority witnessed MOU signings worth a whopping ₹90,000 crore with investors from both within India as well as overseas.

The Greater Noida authority is developing eight sectors to be set up as industrial units as part of various developmental agreements signed at the global investors’ summit, officials said on Monday, adding that the body has expedited the land acquisition process in this regard. The villages, where the authority will buy the land area are Powari, Imaliya, Atai, Muradpur, Luxar,, Dadupur, Ladpura, Khanpur, Sirsa, Vaidpura, Jonsamana, Sunpura, Bhola Rawal, Dhoommanikpur, Khedi, Aamka, Kirachpur, Kailashpur, Khodna Kala, Bhanauta and Khodna among others, said officials.

The Uttar Pradesh government recently held an event in Lucknow called the Global Investors' Summit between February 10-12. Multiple domestic & international investors collaborated with the Greater Noida authority to sign MoUs worth ₹90,000 crore. This is a major milestone for the state and shows its huge potential for economic development.

Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Greater Noida Authority, announced that the land for eight new industrial sectors has been allocated and their respective departments have been instructed to prepare them as soon as possible. These new sectors will be a great addition to the industrial setup in Noida.

The eight sectors of Ecotech are providing immense potential for growth and development in the city. Spanning a total area of nearly 900 hectares, these sectors include Ecotech 7, 8, 9, 12A, 16, 19, 19A and 21. All these sectors have unique characteristics which can be used to develop various kinds of industries and businesses. The combination of the right infrastructure and location makes this an ideal spot for entrepreneurs and businesses to start or expand their ventures.

These eight industrial sectors are strategically located on the Eastern Expressway near Sector-Omicron 1A loop zone, which connects directly to the Jewar International Airport and the Yamuna Expressway to the east. Moreover, there are Modal Logistic Park and Delhi-Mumbai Rail Corridor (DMRC) Logistic Hubs within 5 km of the western side.

According to officials, the authority has already acquired 90% of the land from farmers in the eight sectors and will buy the remaining land in the next three months.

The authority is also in the process of issuing tenders to start work on roads, sewer, drain, park, water supply lines and other basic services in these sectors.

The government is taking strides to improve the infrastructure of these Sectors by issuing tenders for road, sewer, drain, park, water supply lines and other basic services in new sectors. This effort is aimed at providing citizens with improved quality of life and livelihood opportunities. With these tenders, the government is ensuring that these new sectors are equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure seamless functioning.

A Greater Noida authority official confirmed that after the tender formalities are completed, the developmental work will begin within the next three months. They wished to remain anonymous.

The Greater Noida Authority has proposed to extend the 130 meter road in Sector-Omicron 1A further towards new eight Ecotech Industrials Area, that passes through the new acquisition zone and culminates at the intersection of Yamuna Expressway and Eastern Expressway. You'll be able to get to Yamuna City and Jewar Airport in a mere 10 minutes from this area. Commuters in Sector-Sigma, Omicron1, Omicron1A, Sector-XU and other parts of Greater Noida will find it especially convenient with the improved travel options.
