We started our Southern Sri Lanka trip with a quick stopover at Negombo, since it is really close to the airport, just to rest and catch up on our sleep. I went in with no expectations and Negombo took me by surprise! With gorgeous churches, laid-back vibes, amazing beaches - Negombo needs to be on every traveller's itinerary to Sri Lanka! I know I'm coming back here - to spend more than just a day!
