Dr. Justin Sledge of @TheEsotericaChannel, an expert in western occultism, joins Andrew Rakich of Atun-Shei Films, an expert in getting drunk in the French Quarter, to examine the history behind Aleister Crowley's seminal essay "Absinthe: The Green Goddess," written during the famed occultist's 1918 visit to New Orleans.
Special thanks to @TheHistocrat for providing the voice of Crowley, and to Maison Absinthe supplying us with some beautiful absinthe paraphernalia. Though it was originally a loan, we loved it so much we bought it! Check out their online store here: https://www.maisonabsinthe.com/
