When transitioning from ribbing to stockinette, the last row of ribbing behaves differently than the previous rows, bringing the purl stitches above the surface of the fabric. This video demonstrates how to refine the transition from working in ribbing to working in stockinette, so that the knit column remains raised above the surface of the fabric and the purl column recedes at the transition point.
